has anyone put 225s on the stock rim?
im about to order a set of falken ze 512s and i want something wider than stock. either 215s or 225s. does anyone know if i put 225s on the stock wheels will i rub or run into any other problems?

I too have 225s on stock rims. It does give a slightly more firm stance on the ground. It is completely safe. Some say that you can go up to 235s, but safety there would be a concern of mine. 245 is completely dangerous. 225 though is safe and doable.
On a side note: I would reconsider the falkens and get something a little bit better for your money.

having 225's also helps to keep you from rashing the rims against a curb.
I have 225's and I think the tC should have come stock with tires this wide, they look better and perform better
