(PICS 56killer) Rotors, Pads, G2 Painted Calipers
Okay so heres a link that i as a reference guide....this was the first brake job i have ever done so, i figured why not do it all....This link is an excellent walk through with tons of very detailed pics....i went through a few others DIYs and cut and pasted what wanted to use into Word and printed out something like a manual....

Here are my pics....for those curious, G2 paint, Custom Made drilled/slotted rotors from a rotor shop in Ca. with black powder coated hubs, EBC Green Stuff brake pads!
Raise up!

Back to Future shot....car would be sick as a hover craft....

Florida = Thunderstorms = Need a Garage to paint....oh well

LOL whatever is takes to keep them from getting wet....i was happy G2 paint dries so quick!!!

New vs Old

Painted and hanging by a cut up wire hanger!

Rotors on

Caliper installed, pads placed in, and High Temp decal put on!

The only shot i got with the wheels on before i got rain on again!!

I'll try to get more later. Overall the process wasn't too bad...other than fighting the damn rain storms while painting! The brakes didn't need to be bled, just a few pumps on the brakes and make sure your brake fluid reservoir is full. Also while compressing the pistons (in the beginning) take the cap off of your brake fluid reservoir and make sure it doesn't over flow....i used an old turkey baster and a beer bottle to put it into...other than that the EBC pads and rotors are biting nicely. I am please with the outcome...Any questions, comments? [/quote]

Thats all i know....but they are good quality
that looks really good bro. so my question is... does the direction of the rotors matter? i mean as far as the way the drills and slots are going? because your fronts, looks like they should be switched. almost like rotational tires. does that make sense?

"Which direction should the discs rotate?
It is a popular misconception that the slots or drillings in a disc determine the direction of rotation. In truth, for an internally vented disc, the geometry of the vanes dictates the direction of rotation. There are three vane types in use:
Straight
Pillar vane (comprised of many small posts)
Curved vane
The first two vane types are non-directional, and can be used on either side of the vehicle. The curved vane disc, however, is directional. A curved vane disc must be installed with the vanes running back from the inside to outside diameters in the direction of rotation. Please see figure. Orienting the disc in the manner creates a centrifugal pump. The rotation of the disc causes air to be pumped from the center of the disc, through the vanes, and out through the outside diameter of the disc. This greatly enhances the disc's ability to dissipate heat. "
Quit getting the same rotors as me!!

Rich is a cool dude! These are very good quality for the $$$. I know a couple of people here on SL that use them for auto-xing, so you know the quality has to be there. Another cool thing about the rotors is you can get them zinc plated (I chose black) for a little extra.
Sorry for going on and on, but they good on you car! The link you provided should help a lot of people out when they decide to do their rotors/brake pads. Hopefully you can get some better shots (like of the whole side of the tC) to show the people the finished project.
