What CEL code do you have?
This question is mainly for boosted tCs, but it would be interesting to see what those with just headers or S-pipes are getting.
I've had the Turbo Toyotas kit on for a little over a week now, and i got the CEL since its been on. Todd said he has not gotten it on his ohter kits, so he wanted to know what code it was.
my buddy, amdforever, hooked up his scangauge and the code was p0031.
I did a search and this is what I found:
DTC P0031 OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER CONTROL
CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 1 SENSOR 1)
Now, this does NOT seem to be the same code that others get with headers and what not they they fix with the anti-fouler. I believe that code is p0420.
I'm just wondering, for those that are getting the CEL, if you had the code read, what code it is, and what that code meens?
So far, it seems like the p0031 is a damaged primary sensor. There was even a TSB on it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

THANKS FOR NOTHING!

Well, here is what I found so far:
http://www.scionbeat.com/Ownership/EG/EG035-04.pdf
But my vin is a good 40,000 after the end vin on that TSB.
So it looks like warantee wouldnt' cover it (especially after they see my turbo!) so would a new 02 sensor fix it? The first one in the down pipe?

Is it just dangling there, or did you actually disconnect it from the cable? And what do you have plugging the hole?

Oh, so NOW you have a CEL?
and I'm assuming you have the sensor screwed in the downpipe but the wire disconnected from the cable?
I'm hopeing my tuner doesn't have an issue with the partial throttle with the new AEM F/IC, but I also need it to pass smog. As long as I dont' have a CEL, I'm good.

i got an obdII scanner and when my light came on ( 6 miles after driving with the turbo on it haha
) i got 2 codes. one being the no cat code. and the other was saying htat the car was running overly rich(in closed loop only) even with the antifoulers on the s-pipe i still got the cat code
kinda upseting but im not too worried about it
Well, I haven't gotten tuned yet, so no, it's not running right, but that has nothing to do with the CEL.
I just want it gone so I can pass smog, and so if it DOES come one, I know it's for something I need to know, not something I did to it myself.

but yeah, that was it. My primary 02 sensor wasn't plugged in!
disconnected the battery, cleared the code, went boosting all around my neighborhood and still no code!
Thanks guys!
