ok i found an artical in my local news paper talking about the future of auto paints and clears. and it talked a little about a new crystal effect pigment that was developed that causes a glittery effect closely resembling the diamond glitter of a layaer of frost on an ice cold winter morning......lol it is called xirallic. they say its currently being used in about 300 serial colors by a few auto makers one of them being toyota. is this used in the TC paints like my car (black sand pearl)? anyone know? just wondering since its a new thing for paints. i know 2 people who paint cars and have not worked with it yet but both say from looking at the paint on my car they cant say yes or no, they say it is possible but not sure.

 

Its the same as pearl just more flashy and more $

 

Lexus is one of the few that Toyota puts them on. I think a few Scion and a few Toyota color has that effect too.
