He kept the entire drivetrain from the vette and basically set the civic body on it.
he only has a total of $2300 bucks into the whole project and if you look at the later posts around page 23 you will see pics of it mostly done and it looks like a stock civic hatch.

My uncle has a Volkswagen camper van. It's been converted to a V-6 engine. The radiator is mounted up front, but rounded and covered to look like your typical spare tire. It's got full ground effects but otherwise looks like a standard VW camper. It's so funny driving it, especially on the two-lane roads going to Clear Lake. When a passing lane comes up, people wig out trying to pass you thinking they are going to get stuck behind a bus. The looks were priceless when they could barely get past or sometimes get shutdown by that old V-Dub.

i'm not a fan of honda or chevy what so ever but combine the two i just love it!!!
