View Full Version : looking for trim rings! cincinfocal 07-25-2007, 10:46 PM does anyone know where i can get some 16" trim rings online...for not too much :p sizzlinscion 07-25-2007, 10:50 PM you should just go to you local autozone or a place like that and get them. cincinfocal 07-25-2007, 10:56 PM i did...they only had 15's sizzlinscion 07-25-2007, 11:01 PM o well i wish i could tell you where to get them online but i have no idea cincinfocal 07-25-2007, 11:04 PM are these things pretty universal from steel wheel to steel wheel? i just called this other location and am gonna see if i can pick em up... tCTaco 07-25-2007, 11:10 PM Ive been looking for some and found some online...but they are too pricey for just some rings sizzlinscion 07-25-2007, 11:11 PM yea they are universal tCTaco 07-25-2007, 11:12 PM http://www.autoamenity.com/Center-Caps/Trim-Rings.htm cincinfocal 07-25-2007, 11:13 PM yeah thats what i have notices...way more expensive than what i want to throw down for some winter tires... mickkassem 08-04-2007, 09:56 PM I was also thinking about trim rings and a Baby Moon center cap. I spoke to a fellow that sells the rings but said he only had Baby Moons that fit a wheel that ribs around the center portion of the wheel. He said they have not made this for years. Anyone know of a Baby Moon with a mount that would say bolt on the the lug nuts and then screw on from there? Think the '08 xB would look good with this treatment. roXor_boXor 08-05-2007, 01:55 AM Here is a great place for that kind of stuff. http://www.hubcapmike.com/trim-rings-beauty-rings.html It's not the cheapest, but they have high quality stuff and good customer service. I bought a set of full disc hub caps for my wife's Prius to go on the steelies with winter tires. http://www.hubcapmike.com/images/prius-screw-on.jpg She likes them better than the stock aluminum wheels. RoundBox 08-06-2007, 02:44 AM Not trying to threadjack, but do the dust caps for the gen 1 xB fit on the xB2s? I'm interested in doing the trim rings also and dust caps for my steelies. RoundBox 08-07-2007, 01:21 AM I meant the grease caps on the 3rd post down from this thread, the ones from Napa: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=111710&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=grease+caps&&start=100 Thanks |
