View Full Version : Nice review of xB on acarplace.com BlueScionOfDeath 10-06-2004, 08:48 PM http://www.acarplace.com/reviews/2005/scion-xB.html http://www.acarplace.com/reviews/2005/scion-xB.html[/url] TheScionicMan 10-06-2004, 09:09 PM Geez, Driver's Ed needs to teach how to drive an Auto tranny. I don't get why people can't get plenty of power out of it, not a problem for me... djct_watt 10-06-2004, 09:52 PM Not that I'm knocking automatics, but there is a pretty significant difference in power between the two. For those who don't care, an auto is definitely the wiser choice. . . but for those who do, the auto can really bog down on you on the highway, especially if you are used to more power. Some may even say the difference is small, but it's all relative. . . that's why it is an option so that both consumers can be happy. My stance on things is that any car that can do 0-60 in under 8.0 seconds doesn't really need a manual. . . The difference between a 9.0s 0-60 and a 10.0s 0-60 can be the difference between merging in front of semi-trucks or behind them. . . and I really hate rock chips, not to mention I have a really childish ego. RPMxB 10-06-2004, 10:00 PM Not that I'm knocking automatics, but there is a pretty significant difference in power between the two... Your points are well taken... however, here we go again: Auto vs. Manual    RPM djct_watt 10-07-2004, 02:18 AM yeah I don't like seeing either one being put down, but truths are truths. But the bottom line is that different people have different needs. . . there is no better, just a better one for your particular needs and what makes you happier. There is nothing to debate in my opinion. ROLLINGillusion 10-09-2004, 05:41 AM wow, that was a really good review, not biased like many others i have seen . good find BSOD. neneago 10-09-2004, 05:51 AM anti-roll bar....Do I need one? chucksu 10-10-2004, 12:29 AM anti-roll bar....Do I need one? Should have 1, just that you could get a bigger one. Would help keep the car flat in a corner.
