Default Clearing the tC Headlight Corners?

I just bought some new halogen headlight bulbs high and low beams and they look fabulous...still need to pickup a set of parking light bulbs..Anyways as I got to looking at my tC headlight longer I wondered if the orange lense for the blinker bulb could be removed to clear the whole headlight out. If anyone out there has attempted this or has a step by step tutorial can you give me a link or reply to this post ASAP because I want to work on it this weekend! Thanks All.

I didn't like the amber on the sides either so I installed some overlays from Blue Batmobile.

I have a silver tC and I can barely even tell they are amber until I turn on the lights. Very easy to do and looks great.

I want them clear as well. I had instuctions on how to do it for a Galant. You had to take out the assembly, remove the gasket, then you could crack it with a scredriver from the hole and dig all the pieces out, because the orage part was just a plastic sleave on the inside. I think the TC would be the same, but I havent' seen it done yet.

Thats of minor concern to me. I dislike the all red tail lights! I am getting the indgo blue and it looks pretty bad. As soon as I can I am going to get them replaced!

I just ordered several overlays for my F/M. One of which was the complete overlay for the taillight in the smoked tint. Hopefully I get them sometime later this week.

I ordered my overlays from bluebatmobile.com as well.

So far from what I've seen on the website they look and fit really nice!

I'll post pics when they get here!

I know somebody on here did this. I remember seeing pictures of it. I will try to find that thread and post it here.

:edit:
This is not the one I was looking for, but it mentions disassembly of the headlights.

Does that help?

Just stick one light at a time in the oven at 200 for about 10-minutes. Pry it apart...you may or may not have to use a screwdriver. I'm sure that reflector will come out easily. Just remember this modification may or may not be legal in your area.

To reassemble sort of press the two halves together, then put in the oven at 200 for another 10-15 minutes. Once the sealer is soft, you will be able to press the two halves together again. Just make sure all the clips attach and use firm pressure to ensure a tight seal.

it's not the color . white or amber is acceptable in most states but a reflector is what need to be present in like 90% of all states.
