i just got TYC tails on ebay for $125 shipped

 

i sold mine to a local for $110

 

what!!!!
i search for TYC 3 times a day for the last 2 weeks on ebay and i have not see a deal that good. its not nice to lie.

the cheepest ive seen is $178 + $16 shipping new, and i saw a set of used go for $140 something + a little for shipping. its this one guy that does the $178 sale now and then, im just waiting for him to do it again. unless someone on here can give me a good deal.

not to be an **** but congrats on getting the taillights EVERYONE has. I see totally stock xBs with them. and i shake my head whenever i see them.

 

i like the ipcw ones, black housing with LED's in them. they look nice, not that weird half circle stuff. i think those are ___.

 

the TYC are good looking tails, I remember the first time I saw them I thought they were very cool...but then you start seeing them all the time ...I think mainly due to the fact that the stock tails are so ugly that most peeps HAD to change them at the dealership...from 16y/o girls to 85 y/o grandmas...and since most peeps that get the xb aren't out searching ebay and other sites they just went with the only option available to them at the dealership...

....again good looking tails and I'm glad your happy with them..it's your car, get what makes YOU happy!!!

 

i tried the TYC's didn't like them at all.... stock tails are the best, now i need to red out the tops of them

 

swartz - all it said is "aftermarket taillights" i was so pumped to see it was only 20 bux at the start.

as to all the haters - its my car and ill do what i want. i dont like the anzo leds. the one led circle ones are hot

everyone has their opinions...and mine is that i like them. im gonna keep my stocks and tint them and get the garnish and swap them out as i please

 

I'm not hating. I mean I like the tails, congrats on getting them for so cheap. I almost got them but changed my mind. And like you said everyone has their opinion. Doesn't mean we're haters.

 

yah you got lucky, i don't think the guy realy knew what he had. i guess ill just stary looking at all tail lights for the xb and just sort threw them.

 

i did a review of all the tail lights i can find for the xb, and its not very meny. 3 slitghtly different LED ( most made by Alteza ) the TYC, and a few that kind of look like the TYC, and last but not least all the vinal stuff ( smoked, red out )
so we don't have very meny options. so in a market of few opions people tend to go with what looks good and is of good quality from a reliable sorce. in other words the " TYC "

you may not like them... but i have a very valid point and thats why you see so meny of them on the xb.

 

I didnt like them and they came with my car stock (rs4) but they've grown on me after a while and plus...theyre already color matched inside from factory lol

 

Keep an eye on craigslist. I picked up a pair in almost perfect condition for $40, then turned around and sold them for $100.

I dont dig 'em myself.
