i want to get a set of gold 18x7.5 Axis Reverbs. the only thing i'm not sure of is offset. i am lowered on hotchkis springs. anybody know what works good and sits most flush but with out rubbing problems? thanks.

 

it looks like i can only find that size in a 42 offset. according to this: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp it will make it stick out 9mm farther than the stock 17x7.0 45 offset. so that should work fine i guess.

 

+35 is what I have, sits perfect in the back, the front could be like +30 to be absolutely perfect or maybe +32

 

will 42 look ok with a 7.5 inch wheel?

it'll look better than stock, it'll stick out a centimeter more so it can't look worse i would imagine. from 42 to 35 is a difference in 7mm, it can't make it look THAT much better. the car will be driven daily so i don't want any rubbing at all.

 

+35 is pretty close to flush

 

i believe +35 is the ideal offset if you want the best flush look without any rubbing issues. like u stated, anything is better than stock. i know a lot of people here have the Reverbs, so if you search i'm pretty sure u can view some pics.

also, i don't think +42 is bad. i might get the tenzo Mach-10's 18x7.5 (they only come in +42), i'm tellin myself the same thing that 7 MM difference isn't that much. i'm even sittin here with a metric ruler...hahahaha...damn that's so sad.

 

It depends on what kind of suspension you have.
I have 18X8 OZs with 35 offset on TRD struts & Springs, they rub everytime I corner
or the road is not smooth. I end up changing into Tein SSP with EDFC which fix the problem. Tein Basic will or changing it back to Stock suspension will also fix the problem but I wanted adjustable dampening and don't want harsh ride.

My buddy has Axis 18x7.5 with 42offset on TRD springs & stock Struts and it never rubs. Just letting you know from experience

 

one more question... why do i hear so many people bashing Axis wheels? are they a bad wheel? or do to many people have them?

the reverb looks like a nice wheel and is somewhat light at only 19lbs for the 18x7.5.

 

the reverb's are very nice, but i believe it's because so many people have axis rims.
