alrighty, so im wanting to get some 19 in rims.

1. are 19s bad for the tC? i heard they could put too much strain/weight on the lugs and its not good??

2. tire life. how long could u expect for 225/35 or 235/35 tires to last you? miles?

any help would be appreciated. thank you

oh. sorry if these were brought up before. i searched tire life and stuff and couldnt really find anything

imo, i don't think 19's would be bad, 19's are a factory option. i've been rolling on 19's on mine since i got the car in jan. '05. as for tires, it depends on how you drive. rabbit starts, hard breaking, and aggressive cornering take their toll. also, if your lowered excessively, or not aligned, you'll get uneven wear. i was slammed till recently and my drive wheels are half worn after 7 months

i would probably just go trd drop because i dont want to deal with rubbing. maybe h-tech.

depending on the offset and tire size, you may not need to worry about rubbing

i have 19's i kinda had the same question about being too big, but then i have seen tc's with like 20's

i haven't had any issues yet, just replacing a set of tires after a little over a year, i have a noticeable camber cus its too low, i had like 20 to 25k miles on them, i'm currently on my second set about 2k miles on them
oh yea! no rubbing here...
