I just finished building 2 boxes for 2 subs last night and decided to put them in my 07 Civic(w/ halogens). They are (2) 12" Kicker CVRs and a Kicker ZX750.1 amp. When the bass hits it dims the lights A LOT!!!

I plan on moving everything to the xB tomorrow so my question is:
Will the power drainage from the subs negatively affect the HIDs in my xB?

Eventually I plan on getting a capacitor but maybe not until christmas. Thanks

No It Would not affect them. at least not to my box i have 1 solobaric 12" ported with 2400 watts and nothing happens to my HID.

Just saw this post...

The halogen bulbs take 55 watts to run while your HID bulbs take 35 watts. If anything, you'll be consuming less power and you won't have any dimming.

they're perfect, no dimming at all
