Hey everyone, my xB is on order and just waiting for it to get here so I can go pick it up in Toronto and bring her back to Ottawa! I can't wait. I got the SNS upgrade and was wondering if you need Nav update CD's for it to run where ever you go. I haven't found ANY info saying you do so I don't think so I just want to make sure.

My other question is for everyone with HID's, does this void warranty at all? Or is there a certain kind I need to buy and have Toyota install it to maintain warranty? No one has mentioned it voids warrany at all yet so I don't think it does. I'm looking at 8000K's.
If there is a thread on this I've missed I apologize but I've tried looking and haven't seen anything yet. Thanks for all the help guys, I'll keep you updated on when I get mine here in Ottawa Canada!!!

I doubt you will get Toyota to install the HIDs since they are illegal unless a factory option. But who knows.. maybe you will get lucky and find the right guy. *shrug*

From what I understand with modding your XB is that Your warranty will not void, unless it is found that the aftermarket part you have installed was the reason for whatever problem it is you are trying to claim under warranty.

Is that true in Canada? I don't know what the laws are there, but it may be different than the US.

If you have the Mobile HID kit from Cliffud and have any doubt that they may question your warranty, it would take about 15 minutes to put it back to stock when you take it in.

Very good point. Easy to return to stock before taking it into the dealership.
