Dummy Covers inside/outside the Scion xB 06
I had my xB for just over a year now but never payed close attention to the dummy covers inside and outside of the car. I bought the car at base price. I know the front bumper has dummy covers for the fog lights, but on the rear bumper towards the left side there is a cover there, what's that for? Also there are dummy covers inside the car next to the passenger lights and above the glove compartment. Any ideas? My car is automatic, when the stick is in parked position, on the right side there is a square dummy cover. If i'm missing any more dummy covers, please fill me in and let me know what they are. Thanks.....
The one on the rear bumper covers the tow hook bolt, you have a tow hook in the styrofoam around your spare tire, if you ever need to get pulled pop off that cover and screw in the hook bolt, there is another one of these behind the front lower grill all the way to the right. The one above the glove compartment is hiding a screw that holds the dash on the car, the one near the passenger lights are for aux switches, and the one next to the shifter is a "Shift lock override" button I believe, this way you can put in the key push that button and shift the car to neutral if it wont start and needs to be towed.
