Hey guys I just got my Infinity Basslink and Kennwood KAC-7202 2 channel amp to power up my front components. I want to install these with myself to save some $ for the install and of course to learn.

I'm planning on buying these wiring kits:
Stinger HPM SWKH8RS (http://www.cardomain.com/item/STISWKH8RS) for Kenwood Amplifier
Stinger HPM SWKH10R (http://www.cardomain.com/item/STISWKH10R) for Infinity Basslink

Some Questions:

1. What else do I need? Do I need a Fuse Distribution Blocks or Power Distribution Blocks since I have 2 components to power (Basslink and Kenwood Amp)?

2. How will I connect the power cable of my basslink and amplifier into the battery?

3. How about the their ground cables? Can I just bolt both of them on the chassis on my car?

Yes you will need a fused distribution block in order to supply power for both amps. I would recommend at least a 40 amp fuse for the block. (you will need two) To connect the power to the battery you will need to go through the firewall. If you have an auto it will be really easy because you can drill a whole where the clutch plate is. If you have a standard your going to have to find another place. And yes you will ground the grounds to your chassis but make sure you scrap away the paint before you drill them down.

Ok, so do I still need to use the inline fuse that comes with the wiring kits? Just wondering because the Fuse distribution blocks already have fuses.

But that one comes only with 1 fuse right? hmmm... I'm a little bit confused now.

How about the remote turn on wire? Do I need to connect both remote turn on wire from my Kenwood amp and basslink to my HU?

You only need one fuse if you are going with a 2 amp kit. For the remote turn on wire, you can have one wire coming from the HU and then splice it on the other end.

You will need one fuse ten inches or less from the battery. Then two more fuses for the distribution block. Its better to have a fused distribution block so nothing goes wrong. Also you can take a separate piece of wire for the remote turn on and run it from one amp to the other.

Not you do not need a relay for just those 2 amps... if you did five amps or something outrageous then you would need a relay.

Yes I ordered my wiring kits from knuconcepts and I only spent $70.00 for both. Great price IMO.
