Default Wheels at Chicago Auto Show

Trying to spec out my xD but I'm a little confused on the wheel options. The wheels below debuted on the xD at the Chicago Auto Show. I thought these might be the 16" alloy upgrade but that doesn't appear to be the case.

These are the wheels shown in the official xD accessory guide the dealer gave me:

I think I like the 10-spoke design better. Anyone know if these are available for purchase?

I've asked two dealers about 16" alloys: the first said Scion chose not to offer them going only with the 18" and the second was going to check. I, too, would be interested if anyone had more information. A couple early reviews even stated a price of $785 USD for thr 16".

Metroplex Toyota in Duncanville, TX quoted me $695 for the rims in the second photo. The 5 spoke 16" alloy rims.

www.scion.com, build your scion xD. This will answer ANY questions you have about pricing or options, all dealers will be the same no matter where you go.

Ha! I wish this were true. Build Your Scion doesn't even list traction control or 16" alloys as an option even though they're listed on the official add-ons list. C'mon Scion! lol

interesting that they always show the cars lowered too. The D at the Chicago show was dropped big.
