Default intercooler help!

i have the stage 0 kit from zpi, and now that zpi is dead....whats the best intercooler i should get...? if u say ebay...then whats the proper measurements on an intercooler....someone on a very similar topic (by me) said that i should get a cheapo intercooler from ebay (zpi uses it too) then buy the dezod intercooler piping (which comes with bov flange) then a bov.....does that sound just about right?

if so, does the dezod piping kit comes with bov flange and couplers too?

sorry.....just nobody was answering i thought maybe that it disappeared on the recent topics thing,,,,im glad that the dezod piping kit comes with flange and couplers but my real concern is the other guy in the other thread (brett) said:

you will also have to buy low profile fans, so you can remove the oem fan shroud, and clock the compressor outlet down.

i have to replace a fan?

the stage 0 compressor housing is clocked upwards correct? same thing with the stage 1. dezods kit arent clocked up, so there is no ugly j-pipe. for you to use the dezod ic piping on a zpi kit you will have to clock the turbo down. the problem is that you cant do this with the stock fan shroud. take it out and wire in 2 low profile fans, and you will have enough room to work with then.

okay so are you saying that the zpi kit is not compatible with the dezod piping kit? or is it just the dezod piping kit that does not fit and thats why i need to replace the fan?

on the zpi turbo kit the turbo inlet faces up on dezod it faces down, you would have to clock it different making the fans in the way. You would have to lose the OEM fans and goto slim line fan's. Add a extra 100 bucks to ur project
