Default Scion Navigation System - SNS - Subwoofer Questions

I can't find anything that says I can or cannot have a sub on the SNS.

I can find that there's no pre-amp plugs.

But, I can't find if it has the plug that (at least my '05) tC had on the back of the headunit. I could use Scion's Harness and Subwoofer with that stock Pioneer Unit.

Any such setup on the Nav unit? Or am going to be calling up the dealership and tell them not to install the SNS, gimme the regular stereo, and I'll go get something else later?

I dunno why I assume a $2k system would have everything I needed. Who installs a stereo like that and doesn't want to install a subwoofer too? (I still may )

Thanks in advance.

Addition:
Found this post about a Four-channel line output converter. Might have to do that.

As far as all the manual I have read and the optiokns in the SNS I don't see anything for adding a subwoofer. Best bet if keeping the SNS would be to get a line output converter and an amp (or an amp that takes those signals) and add the sub that way.

Thanks. That does seem to be what I'll be doing. Getting the Line Output Converter and adding a sub that way. That's no worse of an installation as any other sub I've done.

Just gotta find the easiest places to get to the speaker wires to cut into. Looks like I'll be posting a DIY in the next few weeks for it.

Ugh, forgot all about the remote wire.... onto more studying! At worst I can ghetto-rig it with a switch, but I'm sure I'll be able to find something.
