Perhaps this was asked in a previous message already, but I wasn't sure how to do a search for it.
I reciently picked up my new xA RS 1.0.
It came with these 2 black curved plastic pieces about 1ft on length.
You'd almost think they were fender flares of some sort, but their not.
When I picked the car up from the dealer, my sales man and also the sales manager also had no idea where they went. This was their first xA RS 1.0 and I was the first to look and buy it. (only had 5 miles on it) When they recieved it, they basically just drove it off the truck and put in on the lot and I picked it up. They were hoping I could tell them when I figured it out.
Anybody know? They were sitting in the trunk in a bag when I picked up the car. There were no instructions and nothing is mentioned in the manual.
Cheers,

Yeah, it you can take some pics of them, that would help. Are there any places in the car that look like they are missing a piece?

The sales and sales manager and I walked around the entire outside of the car trying to place where they should go, but couldnt' figure it out.
Even looking in the interior to figure it out, but we were at a loss...
They got to go somewhere.

I just picked up my RS this weekend and I have the same thing! We have no idea where to put these pieces, so I'm just keeping them in the trunk until I find out what they are. Please let me know if you figure out!

they missed putting them on during the pre-delivery-inspection...take it back to your dealer...they go in the back.

Just the other day, I took it in. Again, they had some trouble figuring out where they go.
After taking my car in and trying to figure things out, they finally found where it goes.
The long curved pieces go in the front, under the bumper. One goes on each side or corner of the bumper. They actually get mounted from underneath the car. If you go up some ramp or something, it looks like your bumper won't get scrapped, but instead these will scrape first. I didn't look too closely if this is the case, but that's what I'm guessing. If so, that's nice because it'll save the paint on the bottom of the bumper.
There's 2 oval rubber pieces that also didn't get installed. Those go under the car, and plug up 2 holes in the chassis. There is a picture on the bag of their location.

OOOHHHH...so that's where those round plugs go. I have riding around with them in the glovebox for months.

Yeah, those curved pieces are called spats, and they're supposed to help direct air around the front tires for better aero. Our service dept. missed them on the first few xA's we got in too.

They're called those damn @#$(*!^@ things that scrape up driveways (I'm lowered with TRD's). Man they get ugly when scratched, but thankfully clean easily. Be careful not to break them on parking lot bump stops. . .
