Default New S/C Dyno results...and it's GOOD!!

ok, so after having a brain fart and getting my first dyno tune with the stock injectors...i realized to go over 200whp, i need the injectors that come with the s/c kit. So once, those were on...i thought i was ready to go and made another appointment for a dyno tune at Church Automotive Testing. Then, i hit another wall. The bearings by the pulley went bad and needed to be replaced. These were still the stock bearings (unlike the high speed, closed loop bearings in the s/c housing that is on my kit) and they, like most will, went bad. Then, thanx to Greenbox/Redbaron, my s/c got new bearings by the pulley...also high speed bearings and closed loop. Redbaron worked on this s/c and made this thing "bulletproof" (in his own words) and i owe these results to him. Thanx Redbaron for the great work. Here are the dyno results and this is the setup i am running currently:
rebuilt supercharger with closed loop high speed bearings
Fujita CAI custom fitted to the s/c
HKS SSQV BOV
ARK N2 Catback exhaust
Fidanza lightened flywheel
ZPI (RIP) 9 lb/stage 0 s/c pulley

on the first two, it shows the comparison between my first dyno tuning (pink), and then after the injectors were put on (blue and dark red)

Now this is on a conservative tune because this is my daily driver...but, after only the second pull on the dyno and very little tuning i pulled 242whp and 225 lb/ft of torque...but the problem was it was leaning out near the top...so they cut it down for me for a nice conservative tune

Was that at the Flywheel, Crank?
It looks to me like this is Flywheel Power.
So, with 13% Drivetrian loss your looking at like 28.6 loss to the wheels so that puts you at or around 192 or so HP to the wheels?
what kind of Engine management are you using? Do I read Emanage?.
Either way good numbers for a Factory option!

Have Fun.

what sucks is that the power is achieved almost at redline....for daily driving, its difficult to get to redline all the time, but thats around what i expected for the s/c....nice job ty

actually it is whp...to get flywheel hp...u'd pretty much have to take out the engine and hook that up to the dyno. It just says flywheel because that's what the program is they use. Thanx everyone...i'm happy with the results

When you say stock bearings...are these the ones that are standard on the trd kit? Also, how did you know the bearing was shot=?

yes there is an attachment to the hks that allows recirc option.

you can estimate flywheel hp by: whp/.85=flywheel hp

People always assume the measurements are Flywheel because they read it on the dyno screen. If you know anything about tuning, you know it is done with the car down on it's wheels/tires, thus giving you WHP figures.

Nice Job, im 12whp, and 28lb tq behind you. Take that beast to a track and hit a 8 second 1/8th, or 13 quarter.

thanx everyone, i'm extremely happy with the results. I don't know exactly where to get the bearings...but the person who rebuilt it would. Stone...i knew the bearings were shot when i heard this extremely loud clunking noise from the s/c...mainly by the pulley...wasn't a good sound at all!! also jjos...what are u talking about with hks? i have nothing hks on my car...or is it initials? Sorry, i'm a little clueless right now from a long day at work

beedee...the 07 s/c are designed a little better from what i've been told...don't know firsthand though.
thanx hollywood...i knew too much work just couldn't be a good thing...
honestly i don't know the difference with open loop or recirculated in regards to the BOV. It is ran through the CAI tubing so i would assume it's open loop?

Congrats bro! Now I know what 220whp feels like in my tC. I was always curious as to what the kit actually put down and now I know! It felt good on my car and im sure it feels good on your car. Enjoy it and whup on some cars for me. Mine is so slow now with the supercharger.

And Since the kit used to be mine... his HKS bov is on open atmosphere. Not the recirc one.
