What would look better tuner look or chrome look?
I have a BSP and have 215-45-17 tires from the 1st gen and was debating on selling them but after much deliberation I have decided to put them on my car. I wanna go with either a 17x7 or a 17x7.5 rim so it fits snuggly on the tire. I am also concernced about wheel weight but have numbered it down to two rims unless someone knows of a cheaper rim set-up thats somewhat lightweight. My question is should I go with a tuner look with the motgei or should I stick with the kazera and have a nice chrome rim that isn't fat. Here are the links

Also could someone tell me if the offset is too high for the both rims especially the kazera......I would want them to be flush but I can live with it. I just would like them to fit when I put them on

Here is my discussion with a similar question.
To me:
black=tuner
chrome=flashy
hyperblack=factory
I chose the factory look. Black on back has been done to death, and chrome can look really cheesey.

Eh, I think you need to find a happy medium with your car. If a little chrome/flash, adds emphasis to that part. Example, chrome lip on a rim.
A single color rim, IMO, doesnt get the job done. You need something with two to three different colors.
I like your choice of spoke styles there, very nice, but I'm gonna have to say the SX5 ( I think thats the name..?) would be choice.

the kazera rims with a +50 offset will NOT FIT
I like a nice lip on my rims, and those don't have one anyhow.
nothing over 7.5 +42 should be run on the box, as they will rub metal on metal - the back lip of the rim to the lower frame.
if you want flush, get 8" wheels in +20 offset, and 10mm OTG shims for the rear, or stagger them +20 in the front and +10 in the rear.

Stock steelies on the gen2 are +45 offset.
8" wheels with +20 offset will extend beyond the fender lip on the gen2.
Can someone please tell me then if the kazera will fit? Sorry if I confused people with the avatar but I am second gen......Would like to have them if they fit; can anyone confirm this?

I do not recall seeing that anyone has installed anything more than +45. I think they might fit, but as cherryBox said, they would be pretty far in. Of course you could always do those with 5mm or a 10 mm spacers as long as your lugs are long enough.
If I were really ambitious I could go out and pull my wheels off and try the +50 16" wheels I have with winter tires from my Mazda3. But I'm not really ambitious.
If you want to wait until about December I will be trying it then.
Personally I would look for something closer to a +40 offset.
