Hey, I've had my car for about a week now but haven't gotten the chance to take pictures.

The first day I got it! NO TINTS!

What is that like 35% or something? Doesn't look tinted hardly at all. Looks good though. I am going tomorrow to get my Super White xD tinted 15% all around with 5% brow.

I'm looking to do 35% all around on a Magnetic Gray Metallic xD that I'll be ordering (hopefully) as soon as next week.

 

I guess that's a good thing. Cause when they finished my tint I thought it was too dark and I was afraid of being pulled over. Only because I live in California, but I've seen other cars with darker tints than mines so I guess it's not a big deal.

I believe they are 26% (I think) The film they used was the Solar Guard HP Titanium 26. Is that valid? lol

 

Yeah, Cali is strict on tints. Gotta be careful.

Yup.

10 bucks and had to remove it. Not really a big deal.

I put it back on darker a week later.

I had 35% for 3 years with no problems. I think the cop was having a bad day.

Great color and congratulations on your new purchase. I've just been approved for $20,000 and will receive loan package w/check tomorrow. I'm hoping the dealer I'm going to will have the Nautical Blue Metallic. With the options I want - automatic, stability control and possibly the security system PLUS fees, license, registration, etc., I'm confident the 20k will cover it...well mostly confident!

Nice, I haven't seen another Blue xD since I got mine. Wasn't really happy the way the color looked on the site, but it looks so much better out in the sun and in person.

Brought my blue aby home tonight. Absolutely perfect.

 

I was actually quite disappointed with the color. I thought it would have been a bit darker but it's cool.

 

When I saw the blue xD in the back lot I didn't like it much either, looked too dark to me. Though from those pictures it looks pretty nice. Oh well, stuck with my silver now

 

I'll trade you. I kinda like the silver now. Damn! Hey, we both drove the same old car!!!

 

i have the same color for my xD, just got mine on the 21st in Maine. Im debating on doing the tape peeling thing. Any suggestions

i think the black tape looks nice, but thats just me.

findingmikey: yea but your Corolla was a few years newer than mine. When I got rid of my '99 the door trim on the inside was cracking and coming off. So nice to have a new car.

 

I kept my tape on, looks good with tint.
