View Full Version : Need some help.....Katzkin Leather Interior
PolarSciontC 08-16-2007, 08:45 PM Ok guys need some help here...
I am trying to get Leather seats... I am looking for a two tone setup using suede down the middle. I talked to the guys at ProMotionTuning.com and they do Katzkin Leather Installs... They quoted me $925 Installed for Black outer with Grey Suede Inserts... What do you guys think? Is that a good deal? The kit alone on their webiste is $577.50 before the options and shipping.... Its like I am getting the install for almost nothing.. Here is a link... http://www.promotiontuning.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=CTO65&Category_Code=SciontCInteriorSeats
Let me know, I am thinking bout doing this asap

PolarSciontC 08-16-2007, 10:59 PM Ok cool.... Seems like Pro-Motion seems to carry alot for the car.... Must be a good company eh?
jrussell98003 08-16-2007, 11:46 PM I have the Katzkin leather in my car and love it. I did black with gray perforated inserts and front seat heaters. Can't imagine ever owning a car again without leather and seat heaters!
imsonofagun 08-17-2007, 01:15 AM I've had some work done at ProMotion. Really good group of people. They started off as performance parts retailer, installer, and tuner. They started getting in to custom interior work earlier this year. $925 is a really good price considering a lot of places charge $1200-1500.
L4rry_B1rd 08-17-2007, 01:18 AM for $925 installed, I wouldnt even think twice.
PolarSciontC 08-17-2007, 02:09 AM Sounds good.. thanks for the comments... I hope I can get it done in a timely manner!
Chaos_Being 09-06-2007, 01:53 AM I'm thinking of eventually getting Katzkin seats from them too, although I was thinking about installing them myself. That is a good price for installation though! If you let them do the install, I'd be interested to hear how it goes :)
PolarSciontC 09-08-2007, 12:19 AM No problem, will let you know... shouldnt be long!
mylnnor 09-08-2007, 08:32 PM i have katzkin in mine. i had it dealer installed tho. the butt and middle of the back is charcoal grey suede and the rest is black leather. really good products. i dont think it would be the easiest install tho. u have to remove the seats, front and back. you have a few optiions on the stitching too. i have charcoal color double stitching. u can get piping or single instead. leather and suede is great quality tho. really soft.
PolarSciontC 09-22-2007, 09:36 PM How does this look? I think I may do a similar setup from ProMotionTuning.Com

PolarSciontC 10-05-2007, 09:41 PM I am on Pro-Motion Tuning's newsletter email list and they have a coupon code listed in the newsletter for 10% off any Katzkin leather kit until Oct 10th. The code they sent me is KATZKIN if anyone else wants to use it, feel free. Just helping out again!
XIEmperorIX 10-07-2007, 06:29 AM Has anyone attempted a DIY with this? I think leather seats in the TC would be nice but I'm on a very limited budget and doubt I could afford the installation cost. Just wondering how much of a headache this would end up being?
