Put lots and lots and lots of wax on the box. The slightest bit of wind will just blow the cat right off

Where I work there is a Vet right next door and there are two yard cats that used to always get on my car. I would just hit my panic button whenever they were on it or near it and it freaked them out and they finally learned to stay away from the silver square thing. If I could catch it on video I would for sure send it to AFV.

I have two cats also. One of them lays on my car almost everyday (at least I catch him almost everyday). I'm going to get a car cover just to keep the footprints off my car. I once came out to my old car to find the hood nearly covered in mud and cat prints.

I would just hit my panic button whenever they were on it or near it and it freaked them out and they finally learned to stay away from the silver square thing.
 That's what I've started doing with my cat. I feel bad, but at the same time, I hate having his prints all over the car. Especially now that I have an entirely glass roof.

At different pet supply stores they have cat repellent sprays and different things like that,.

You might want to stop by PetsMart or some place and check them out.

I tried that with my car with little success. I didn't want to actually spray it on my car because not sure if it will screw up the paint, so I sprayed all around the car and put some on a bunch of shop towels in the spot the cat likes to bask on my roof. Next day I come out to see that the cat was sprawled out right on top of one of the towels with the repellent on it. I'm telling you if this cat wasn't so freaken chilled out and cute it would be RIP!!!!

Dude that is just evil!! Keep it in the garage or go to the dealer and pick up one of those car covers. I forgot who makes them but I saw them at two dealers already. :D

My neighbor woman has at least three outside cats that she has carried home because they were homeless. They spend as much time on my property as on hers. At least one of them likes to climb on my vehicles. No garage. With new white xA on the way I have obtained a pellet pistol and hunting pellets. Unfortunately I am a particularly poor shot with a pistol of any kind and my dog is too slow to catch a cat. But I am determined not to hit the xA and will research the availability of heat seeking ammunition for the pellet pistol.

Death to all cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to do 2 things....

#1 get a garage for the BOX, its the best thing to keep the paint decent.

#2 Keep the damn cats in the house, They should not be running loose in the first place. I have the same problem in my area and warn the owners if they don't want the cats to be caught and turned over to animal control to keep em in the house and off my property. I hate when other peoples PETS become other peoples PROBLEMS!!

Mr. Kalashnikov's excellent piece of hardware, while highly effective, might be too noisy for some.
So, that being said, how about electrifying the hood?
