ok.i was think the first rest area off the pike once you get on from 290 since thats the way we'll be coming most likely at say 11:00 if that works(not sure how far it is from there)would make for a god coffee and bathroom break if people need it.we can work our end from that time frame.

we'll have to figure out the time based on what time the big meetup with the other chapters is going to be. once we figure that out, then we can coordinate meeting up and stuff to go to the bigger meet up spot.

yea.. my car isn't really much to look at right now. but i'd rather park with everyone else and be able to get feed back on what i can do to make it look good.

Oh for sure. It's also a pride thing too. It's about taking the time and effort to clean your car all nice and being proud of it, no matter what mods (if any) you have. The whole community is strong because each individual enjoys their vehicles and takes the personalization aspect to whichever level s/he wants. No reason to be ashamed with a stock/stock-ish car. We were all there once! :D

True.. I went to the M.C.M show last weekend and the guys there taught me a lot about my car. and we shared ideas.. Im likin all the love.. I believe The Scion community is by far the most supportive and helpful out of any other community.

and it's a very far walk................................ (= plus.. if you get tired, you can chill in your car near everyone else.

You actually have to register in the tent after you park - they check you off on a list, give you the ticket, swag, etc. Not sure if the guest has to be with you at that time, but as long as Tam's 'posse' meets up with you before you register, should be all good.

To accommodate all our car show entries and to maximize in-park time for all our guests, we have moved up the beginning of roll-in for car show entries to 9AM and official start time of Scion Exposed Boston to 10AM (to coincide with the park’s opening time). Ticketing/Registration

If you have successfully registered on www.scionexposedboston.com, YOU ARE REGISTERED FOR THE EVENT. You only need to show up at the event you’re your guests in your Scion between 9-11AM if you are entered in the car show, and 10AM – 5PM if you are not entered in the car show. Your name will be on a registration list – you only need to show picture ID to receive your tickets. You will NOT receive tickets in the mail or printable E-tickets.

Guitar Hero Championship –

If you think you can jam like a rock star, you’ll want to participate in our Guitar Hero II Championship. You better sharpen your skills though; with prizes like a Nintendo Wii system, Nintendo DS Lites, and wireless guitars on the line, there will be plenty of competition. The tournament begins at 10AM, and competition will be open all day until 5PM, where the top four finalists will be battling it out on the main stage to determine the ultimate Guitar Hero! In addition to the guitar action, the main stage will host Dance Dance Revolution and Wii challenges throughout the day for more chances to show off your video gaming prowess – and more chances to win some hot prizes.

Scion Billboard Car Search Contest –

Building on last year’s first-of-its-kind contest, we are set to pick only the second Scion owner to ever appear on a Scion billboard ad campaign. All residents of MA, ME, NH, RI, and VT entered in the Scion Car Show are automatically considered for the honor. A team of judges will select three finalists from the field. Those finalists will be announced at 4PM. At that time, those finalists will have an opportunity to tell their Scion story for a shot at being selected as the winner. The winner will be announced at 5PM.

Scion Car Show –

The Scion car show classes have been previously posted and are available for inspection at www.scionexposedboston.com. Please arrive between 9AM and 11AM if you are competing in the car show. You will receive a registration sheet upon entering the car show area. Cars will be parked in order of entry – team parking allowed, if you are rolling in together. Judges will begin judging no later than noon. All entrants will receive People’s Choice balloting slips to select a People’s Choice winner.

SCION CAR SHOW
The fully judged all-Scion car show will be one of the biggest of its kind in the region. Its one of the last chances for owners of customized Scion to get together for a big car show this year and Scion Exposed Boston plans to deliver with at least 28 trophies to be awarded in six competition classes and ten special categories. Whether you’re a seasoned car show pro or new to the car show scene, the Scion Car Show at Scion Exposed Boston will be another fun way to express your creativity through your Scion.

If you want to join the 'train', go back to the last page or two - there's a map showing the expected times the group will be passing each rest area on the pike. You can go all the way to the starting point, join in at any point along the pike, or just meet us all there - we'll actually be rolling in to 6 Flags after meeting up with the other NRG chapters about 10:00 or so.

As mentioned in previous posts, everybody should 'show' - stock or not, doesn't matter. You get to park in the VIP lot along with all the other Scions. Most of us aren't going to win anything, and we don't expect to - that's not the point.

I watch the Weather Channel all the time - pretty much a given when they say 30% chance, it doesn't rain. Let's hope the streak continues.

i had planned to do a lot for sat. but i just dont have time to finish. I wrapped my headliner and sub boxes in some black faux-suede. pillars are still off-white though:( painted brake calipers red today and installing an xbox 360 in a little bit.
i really wanted to fix and paint my wheels its too much to do with a 1 year-old running around, haha. maybe i'll do it during winter.

Same here. The weather has put a sad damper on my "last minute" mods for this weekend. We'll still see though.

i just did the panels over again yesterday because the cloth was bubbling like coming unstuck from where i used the adhesive on the stock cloth so i went out got new fabric and like a padding to put between the stock cloth and the new cloth and see how that holds up it looks mint tho but getting off topic lol

Is it okay if I meet you guys at the Framingham pike rest area? Heading into Meffa will mean that I need to wake up at around 6, head east, then head back west. Plus I got a little disoriented last time, so I don't want to get lost and have to play catch-up.

There's a construction zone a mile or so before exit 8, with the usual 'speeding fines doubled' signs posted - apparently they are serious about this one. He said the staties constantly have multiple cars pulled over, especially westbound (that's us).
Just be aware, no need to ruin your weekend with a hefty $ speeding ticket.

I printed out about 30 copies of the directions from the Wal-Mart parking lot to 6 Flags if anyone needs one (those of us without NAVI) - it's about 12 miles, so good chance to get separated from the group (stop lights, turns, etc). I'll pass them out at the Ludlow stop.
Getting to Wal-Mart from the pike shouldn't be as bad - it's on Boston Road, which is Rt. 20 - even if you get separated, that should be easy to find.

I wonder if the guy with the two tcs is coming...

The rain shortly stopped after we arrived, and the clouds left shortly after. Not bad (well, except that everyone either had rain spots, or had to frantically wipe down their car once the clouds were starting to clear).
