Rock Chip Concern?

Rock Chip Concern?
Got my first chip today from a rock. Was not close to any car but a rock found my windshield... My question is, do I pay the $40 to get it fixed? It is VERY small, no cracks around it, maybe the size of a pencil tip, a little indent. My insurance does not cover it for free, but will replace the whole thing (if it needed it), just not repairs. So should I get it repaired or is it too small to worry about? Will it spread?
Again, its tiny and has NO cracks around it. So repair it for $40, or let it go and not worry about it.
Thanks!

Well I don't care about the chip itself, just concerned if it will spider out or not. It's on the far right of the windshield (passenger side) and visually it does not effect me at all, but if it will get bigger with time I will just get it fixed. But like I said, its a tiny chip with no cracks around it, just missing a tiny chunk.

Took it to a shop and they told me not to worry about it, that it was only a pit. (Im new to this windshield stuff, in four years of driving I have never had ANY issue with rocks+windshield) haha.
So I take it unless it's large and has small cracks coming from it, it is a pit and not worry about it. Easy enough
