Default 3" Exhaust HKS Carbon/TI Muffler

Just wanted to let you guys know about this new product. First off we are one of the few companies offering a full 3" exhaust system. We offer over 18 different mufflers to choose from, but the HKS Carbon/TI muffler is by far one of our most popular. It is super rare, expensive and the ultimate bling item. It really makes the rear of your car look nice.

HKS only offers this muffler with a couple different car models, but we offer it with all our our exhaust systems. Anyway just wanted to let you guys know about this new item we have for sale. I am pretty sure it will become pretty popular in a short amount of time. Remember when it comes to quality "you get what you pay for". Especially when it comes to performance parts. Check out our site and let me know what you think.

The 3" exhaust we offer is definitely something you want to upgrade to when doing a turbo kit. You can get by with a 2.5", but the 3" will improve turbo spool up, hosepower, torque and the exhaust note. You will be able to hear the turbo better and it is definitely a performance improvement.

$807.00 for a 3inch catback with nothing else? Thats aol of money. You guys do have a good price on that muffler though, but i would nock off 100 bucks and you will more than likely sell more. 2.5 more than likely will be your bigger seller.

That is why we are doing a group buy on Monday so you guys can all save on pricing. You have to remember you get what you pay for. The quality is 2nd to none.

If you do a search online you will see HKS is selling their Carbon/TI catbacks for around the same price. Our quality is better than HKS and we have it available.

We use T-304 stainless/HKS uses magnetic 409 stainless or coated mild steel

We use precision TIG welding/HKS uses cheaper mig welding

We use a true 3" no reducers or reductions/Most HKS catbacks have several reductions in piping

I wasnt bashing you guys, just trying to see what was going on. The price is ok, and its good to see more aftermarket support. I wanted an exhaust like that a year ago. lol.

I know you weren't trying to bash. I was just trying to explain why ours might appear a little more expensive. Anyway check out our group on Monday and you will be surprised.

Who else offers a full 3" exhaust?

not to dump but i holy cow

This is our catback for the 2003-2007 Scion TC.
common at least do some research

and with the tc, the 3" really isn't necessary until about 350 whp +, the 2.5" will sell much better than your 3"

please explain why you think that a 2.5" exhaust is better than a 3" until 350whp.

I don't think it has a lot to do with HP. 3" would definitely have its advantages over the 2.5" when you are using F/I ... and pushing big numbers ... but on an N/A I would say it is pointless with a 4cyl. 2.4L.

Even with F/I on our motors I doubt that there would be much difference in the numbers between a 2.5" and a 3".

I love my 3 inch exhaust. Sounds amazing and spool up did get better. As far as hp I'd say you'd gain a couple from a 2.5 inch.

honestly, i wouldn't use a 3 inch pipe on a stock tc. there wouldnt be enough backforce, so u would be losing power. personally, i have a carbon ti with a straight pipe, 2.5 inch piping. and, 807 for the catback. NO. really, go to a shop and have it custom done. when i go turbo, im going to get all the piping replaced to 3 inches, so there will be better air flow, and more performance out of it.

20tCDude05- Mine was custom made with e Vibrant muffler.

Everyone here knows not to put a 3 inch on a N/A tC......I would hope. Beside we are in the F/I forum.

Well I got really really lucky. Tuning Factory made this exhaust to make a jig for making them in bulk just before they decided to close the shop and stick to wholesale. I only paid for the piping, no man hours. And the Vibrant muffler is a 3 inch inlet and 4 inch straight tip.
