Default Highest HP S/C tC?

I am looking to eventually invest in the Supercharger, mostly because I am in NY and the warranty.

I do not know a lot about supercharging, I come from a turbo and N/A background. I have done quite a bit of research over the last couple of weeks regarding the TRD Supercharger and add-ons to get the most of out.

Besides adding a different pulley, headers, intake etc. ... what else is there that can be done?

What is truly possible with the TRD setup as far as HP and TRQ? I see most people are getting roughly 200hp and 180lb ft

Thanks for any input.

as of right now icenine still holds the highest sc tc out there, but he has no warranty, if you keep it stock sc you will have your warranty for 5years or when you brought your car. it goes by powertrain and sc must be installed by a dealership
icenine car has eman.cams, full exhaust,12lbpsi,watermeth and flywheel

if you are worried about warranty then you gotta leave it as is!

any mod to the s/c will kill the warranty....

but what you can do to maintain warranty and get a little extra push is probably just add a trd air filter and put on a bosch 110 bpv because it looks exactly the same as the stock bpv ( bosch 102 ) and it will hold your boost better.

Dang. I just want 250HP and something around 225lb ft. With a 9.5lb pulley, intake, exhaust is that possible?

I dont want to remove the headers because I think in New York I dont have a choice. Man it was nice back in Canada to be able to boost and and modify and not worry. My friends Talon was running 2bar and never worried about any of this emissions and modifying trouble.

with an antifouler on the header you wont hafta worry about passing the emissions...as long as your not showing a CEL you will be good...also 9.5lb pulley, intake, exhaust will probly net you somewhere in the range of 225-235whp depending on the dyno your on.

flint08 remember that when you get a intake you need to get a EMS / piggyback for the ecu because the car will be too rich.

if you get the 9.5 pulley, header, exhaust with a good TUNE than i believe you can hit 250 hp.

there was another guy on here that just ran on the stock 7lb pulley and everything else stock was able to push around 227 hp i think

Awesome, thanks a lot for your help guys. I am going to be busy over the next month, I will be saving for my suspension work and then the supercharger project will begin.

Not to mention a new engine management and tuning, which isn't cheap!

To the best of my knowledge, you can do a header-back exhaust, eliminate the second cat and still retain the warranty. If you add a header and/or pulley you will void the warranty.

warranties are overrated... they are actually one of the biggest money makers for companies.

actually he is right. when has a Toyota motor blown before 60,000 miles? (excluding boost) never that I have heard of and I work at a dealer. It is a HUGE $ maker. Requiring people to get services done at the dealership to maintain warranty is a proven way to get customers to keep coming back to the dealer. Just like the "enviornmental protecting package" it is no more than a $400 wax job.
