As most know by now there is a company called ZPI RACING IN KENTUCKY who has taken many for a ride costing us thousands of dollars while all the time this money was going into the pockets of those owners.... My car is still at this company without my engine// transmission and Im told my turbo kit... has been taken off my car as well... DO I HEAR THEFT ? Yes... Is there any one out there who is able to help me? Im 18 and to think that this deception was done to a kid...We will not even go into what kind of adult would do this to a kid...Im looking for a xb engine// transmission..and a turbo kit possibly... Im a college student ( in my 2nd yr) and work PT at a local gym. The rewards will be HUGE for anyone who is willing to step up to the plate to help me and my family..... Advertisment would be huge as well as a good human interest story and a write off....This one I can not handle by myself.......PJP

Dude, I am sorry to hear your problem, but there are tons of people right now that have been screwed over by ZPI.

I know it really sucks and is very unfortunate that you are without a car, but I am not sure anyone is really going to step up and do anything just because you are a young adult in college, the majority of people on here are your age and in college.

I would hold out a little longer, let the corporate people over at ZPI fix their crap internally. I am sure that within the next few weeks-months you will hear something. They are not just going to screw their whole company and steal peoples stuff, that is criminal.

Sorry about your loss.

I wouldnt hold off for one second. I would call the police first and a lawyer second. If they have your car, you have a right to get it back.

I have only dealt with them from the other angle, as I was the one doing their gauge and console conversions way back. They simply shipped them to me, I did the mod and shipped it back to them. I cant say it always went well with getting paid, but I did get my money, although usually late. So I cant say anything to their business from the other end. But it is apparent they had some issues and now they are up $#it creek like many have been expecting for a long time.

Simply find someone there, and let them know you want your car back in one piece or attorneys will be notified. No matter the explanation, they cant expect you to live without your ride for excessive amounts of time because of their issues.

i am one of those people that isn't surprised by their actions at all. did i get screwed over by zpi? yeah, sure i did. i didn't even received a full turbo kit from them. i was one of the original people that preordered with them. i didn't even receive a full kit ONE YEAR LATER. I did receive free stuff from zpi, but none of those free stuff help finish building my turbo kit. i will still missing pieces to the kit when i sold it last year. i honestly hoped zpi would become better company and that i just had a bad experience, but wow. i am speechless. hopefully this does become another redline motorsports....

That's the weirdest thing really... I ordered tons of stuff from them. Always received it in a timely manner. I bought something with a core charge and got the refund within 2 weeks after returning the item.

They were always helpful to me, it seemed to be a pretty good business.

Sad to see they failed miserably and put out so many customers...

I'll ask around for you you about getting a motor and trans. Don't think I'll be able to help get a free one but I'll ask some people in my club and look locally for the stuff also.

I'm going to put it out here now so everyone can see. When I was at ZPI getting my car on the 8th of August this year 2007, there was an xB tranny right next to mine on the shelf. I couldn't tell you who's it was or if it worked but it was there. If it's gone now then it must of went where my engine and the rest of the engines went.

Its a little more involved the the Engine and Tranny, thats just a majority of the problem. The vehicle also will have reduced front end stability because the subframe was cut in several places.

Why dont you just have a friend drive you down there with a flat bed and tow your box out? Then look around the shop and find the matching engine and transmission set?

Because the original post has left out some very critical details involving that xB, and has instead pretended to play the "I'm 18 and got taken advantage of" role. But hey, I'm not going to go into all that. Just find it interesting how stories are twisted to suite a particular perception.

The OP has done everything that has been previously suggested. If it was that easy for them, they would have that xB back by now. Ok, this is all I'm going to post on this one, and then I'm done.

One has the right and authority to re-fuse to enter contractual agreements.

It's called read before signing.

By the way, this is not uncommon in Sponsorship offerings.
