No help from here. If it were xB-1 vs Rabbit, I'd be there. But xB-2 vs Rabbit? I'd go with the Rabbit. The xB-2 is just toooo frumpy . . . .

I don't get it. Seems to me that he's already made up his mind because he's posting on a VW forum. And I'm not quite sure about the xB2 yet.

haha... you gotta love the vortex!

Been a VW owner for many years. Owned 4 (84 Rabbit, 90 Corrado, 95 Golf, 00 Jetta). I'm a huge fan of the new Rabbits and not a big fan of the 2nd gen xB! haha

It would be a harder choice if he went with 1st Gen xB, but I would still choose the Rabbit!

They're not even in the same class, IMO. If you want an xB2, that's what you want. A Rabbit is something totally different to me - and they're very nice. I'd definitely go Rabbit over xB2.

If he is really a first gen xB owner he already knows how crappy the xB2 is and should prollly get the V Dub. No help here either. Scion F'd up big time!

I'd get a Rabbit over the new xB (not xB2 damnit).

I was actually considering a Rabbit, but went w/ the 1st gen xB b/c Ive always loved how it looks and it's so spacy. Had I known about the slowness, I might have gone w/ the Rabbit. =P
