ok guys/girls. did anyone of u hook up a console to a pioneer avic d-1? is it doable?

 

as long as that player has a A/V input it should be no problem.
Then you need to find a 120-12volt converter.
Pretty simple. Hard part is mouning your console

I haven't done this (yet, lol). But I pretty sure the PS2 would be easier (easiest?) to do since it uses less power than the xbox360.

You can try messaging Neothin about this. He has a PS2 hooked up to a AVIC-D2.

 

mounting and hiding the 360's power brick will be a pain. the 360 needs major ventalation or you'll quickly discover the 3 rings of death.

Yep. 3 Red Lights = Hardware Failure. Had my launch console since Nov. 25, 2005 and it died January 3, 2007.

On my second one now, no problems so far....

microsoft will send you a new one. they just extended the warranty to 3 years i believe.

 

what if u bought it on ebay or something like that, will they still do it?

 

The warranty has been extended to every single xbox360 console. It shouldn't be a problem to replace it.

Microsoft also is in the process of releasing a newly redesigned 360 (65nm instead of 90nm), which uses less power and is less prone to overheating.

i have both, and i still like my ps2 more than my box . but just like everyone is saying, the xbox360 would be cool but man would it be alot of work cause of the power required and the fact its purty big.

i already did "waste my money on wii." its a fun system that kids and chicks dig. I also have the 360 and no way am i putting that heater in my car.
