Is your xB manual or auto?
I just wanna get this info from other fellow xB drivers to see if autos are more than manuals. Cause it seems like there are more auto xB's than manual xB's...
Manual, i wanted a faster response but i really like the auto one too.. This is my second manual vehicle(I had a Xrunner before) i think im getting better @ driving stick ..
Auto here but if it were up to me the only transmission option would be a 6-speed semi-auto with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
BTW, has anyone driven a CVT yet? I did and OMFG I hated it!

Before i got the xb me and my wife tested the New Lancer with the CVT. I didn't like the auto anyways but it did shift instantly with the paddle shifters. No lag at all instant up down very responsive, but i hate auto anyways.
Manual here. We both drive a manual on our 2nd vehicle and this way they are both the same (manual). The real deciding factor at the time of purchase was the $1000+ for the auto. We are enjoying our xB2 very much.
I got auto cause on the lot this one had the right extras illum sills, 5 piece carpet and color (csm). The others were mans, one loaded 22,000
the other basic nada nothing extra
both (bsp) if I put that right well they were the black anyway!
MANUAL STICK-SHIFT here.
4 advantages:
1)_Close to $1000 cheaper
2)_About 60 pounds lighter
3)_Fun to shift (I'm finally getting accustomed to "high clutch")
4)_Acts as a passive "anti-theft" system
Fortunately, my daily drive is on little traveled back roads. If I faced daily stop and go, I would DEFINITELY go for the AUTOMATIC.
