Default Sound Performance tC Turbo Kit group buy!

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Chris, I'm 1/2 the owner here at SP ( I met lots of you 2yrs ago at Elmhurst, I owned the white 1000hp Lexus SC300 there at the show). My partner Larry has owned and operated the business for 18years now, I've been co-owner for about a year. Over the last year we've undergone a number of changes, all for the better! We've supported the forced induction market for the last 15years and are continuing push the envelope with high quality products. That said, one of the platforms we've focused on, but many may not have realized has been the Scion. While we keep busy building these crazy hp supra's, we love the tC!!!!! Which is why we built one of the first turbo kits out there.

We have a number of kits out there, but I'd like to expand our customer base, and show everyone that we are a force in the Scion market (no longer want to be the best kept secret ;))

We recently did our kit on a 2008 Auto tC Limited that was featured at the Elmhurst Scion show. Here is a picture of our kit in it's latest form. We were very happy with the results as was our customer. HP numbers to come soon, the car only had a couple thousand miles on it when he brought it to us

The only major change to our kit was that the wastegate now dumps into the atmosphere.
We are also working with AEM to use their FIC unit as an option to the Apexi Neo we now offer with our package.

So that said, if anyone has any questions for myself or my sales manager Tim, please feel free to contact us ANY time, we practically live at the shop.

We wanted to extend this offer to the Scion community and re-establish ourselves as a top name in the Scion turbo game!

Here is the list of what comes with our kit

Tubular Stainless Steel Turbo Header

The above group buy is only on the ball bearing kit. Our price on the non ball bearing kit is
$4,500

One other note, we will be releasing our new website with all products we offer for Scions, so you will see that in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks
Chris

260/280 WHP/TQ on the auto trans?

Anything in particular done to the tranny to cope with the extra power?

That power was made on Charles' manual car. I will get Oscar back to the shop so we can strap it down to our dyno asap!

I could be mistaken but it doesnt look to be.

I am very interested in this kit. Making me think twice about the TRD S/C.

On the auto kit I built the turbo a bit differant due to the fact that the auto cant handle that much. I am looking to make 240 to 250 at 7psi on the auto kit.
Mind you that this customer was or is not looking for extreme HP, he wanted a very reliable kit. The car only had 600 miles when I finished the kit.... so I did some half throttle pulls on the street and I was still able to break the tires very easily!!!
I have a 5 speed coming in a week or so... I will do a full write up of install and dyno #'s.

Thanks,
Tim

Our manifold is not 100% equal, it is tubular stainless however.

Also, all of the cars/kits we've done and sold we've used either the Safc before the neo came out, but the latest one we moved to using the Neo and had success with it.

As for other tuning tools, we can in fact do an AEM ems for the tC, if someone is looking at going all out, or going with the new AEM FIC unit. We had done the original testing of the FIC unit for aem on another platform.

We don't currently have a financing company but we are working on something in the near future.

Only thing we can offer is upfront deposit, and a final payment, then reciept of the kit.

I'll keep this thread posted on the financing stuff.

Thanks
Chris

Hmm, interested and watching.

Got an estimate on labor and length of install if I were to drive to you?

Also, why no auto tranny cooler? If you say you can go over 250 with the auto kit, why not do it!

It will include:
Header (Ceramic coated)
Down Pipe (Ceramic Coated)
Dump Tube (Ceramic Coated)
Intercooler and IC Piping (IC Piping will be Powdercoated)
Oil Pan with -10 weld on fitting installed

Basicly you will need to get a t3 based turbo, 38mm Wastegate, Oil lines, Intake pipe and a fuel system.

Cost will be $2000 for the DIY kit.

Thanks,
Tim
