words of advice for anybody wanting to spraypaint their rims with a red lip.

it is VERY hard to get it PERFECT. and if you are willing to try, do the red lip by hand, it's the best possible way to do it.

also, don't buy cheap paint, it comes off. that comes from graffiti experiance tho so....don't take it with a grain of salt. trust it =P

what else....oh yea, latex paint. no, acrylic, yes, tape, make sure you can get tape that actually curves with a the level of tackiness that you need to stick to spraypaint, spraypaint is sometimes textured depending on the brand you buy, that texture comes off on the tape making it hard to stick.

those Tenzos are pretty hot! if they came in a 19 i would sell mine for those!

 

I want black with a turquoise lip. It'll go nicely if I'm ever able to accomplish all these great ideas i have.

 

i was gonna recommend the tenzo dc6 but someone beat me to it hah but the dc5 also comes in black with red lip its a split 5 spoke
but if you have the money def get the te37s =)

there is one member that has the tenzo r dc-6 v1 with red stripe on the forum.

I have the black version and teecizzle has the gunmetal version.

the rims look sick in person. They are extremely clean looking in design and easy to keep clean. I just wipe with damp microfiber.

And another plus is I get a lot of compliments from strangers all the time

 

My Time Attacks are arriving tomorrow.. hehehe... probably the first Scion with these wheels.

its not paint drip i just did a bad job cleaning and drying my rims and that white stuff is smoke
