Default What are a few things you like about your Xb?

So a friend of mine from church is thinking about getting the 1st gen Xb. I don't drive one, so I'm trying to get reasons to tell her why she should buy one. Post your comments.

---also, maybe post some things that you don't like...

Thanks!

Like:
- color , headroom, fuel economy, endless space (when seats folded down, style, capabilities, insurance, reliablitiy (come on its a Toyota it will run forever!), ease of driving (&fun to boot!), traction control, great handling in the snow, etc.

bad:
- they don't make the first gen. any more....

What everyone else said!! Plus it's fun to turn heads since it's got such a distinct shape (altho the new gen xB isn't so different from other SUV/vans/station wagons). I love how easy it is to get in and out, even when you're old and creaky. I love how comfortable to drive it is and that you can see all around. I haven't had any mechanical problems (knock on wood) like other cars I've owned (probably because I bought that extra Toyota insurance.....). I love how many people can comfortably sit in the car and still carry more stuff. I love telling curious people how much I love it!!!

Ben, This is the first car that i let just about anyone who has an interest come over and sit in the car. Then the car sells itself. When you are inside it you have the feeling of being in a big car. It is not until you get out and walk to the back that you realize that this is a little box. Oh did I mention it is very easy to customize it to your personality and then there is the gas mileage thing too. I am sure other cars have these forums too, but in all the cars i have owned, this is the first that dealers actually showed any appreciation in return. Oh and I agree with what everyone else said too. I am sure I even duplicated them

The box is awesome all around. I got mine over two years ago and I'm still upgrading it and turning heads. It has so much room for people and stuff.

If there is one thing to complain about the most it would be the power. Theres plenty to get around with but none to impress...of course while I wish for more power I prefer the 30+ mpg ;)

Rear seat leg room. Especially if she has kids and is sick of them kicking the back of her seat, repeatedly.

I let my boss sit in the back seat of mine and he bought an xB the very next day.

I let a co-worker sit in the back seat and she bought a '08 xB the very next day.

You should be on commission....LOL It does seem like when people sit inside one they are hooked.

No doubt. Unfortunately neither of them told me they were going to run out and buy one the next day and certainly didn't tell who they bought their cars from that I referred them. And that would of worked, both the dealers they bought from know me from either selling us our xBs or vaguely knowing me from this board or the Pizza Run, lol. Oh well!

I still let them in on the Scion Exposed, even though they didn't hook me up when buying their cars, lol.
