Default How do I remove dash pieces?

I am going to send the silver pieces around the gear shift and the mirror remote switch to Patterntek to get coated like wood. How do I remove them? I also may want to remove the air vent bezels and the radio surround.

Nearly everything just "pulls" apart. I was able to remove most dashboard parts with no tools at all.
If you get your fingernails underneath the shifter surround, you should be able to pull it up and off

Hey ScionXbrothers, how did you get the air vent trim rings off?

I noticed you live in SA, so do I.

I think they should just pop out... let me know if you're still having trouble and I'll make a few calls to get advice.

There are two screws by the near the center you unscrew them and pop loose the dash and unscrew them from the back.. the passengers the hardest to pull off and to tighten up .. my lil bro was the one that took it apart and i just painted them and put them back on. there are several like where you should find more info .. http://www.NewScionxB.com/index.php
also you might find some info in here/

I think I can get them off now. I will send them to you in the next month or two. I just got the car back yesterday with my new Katzkin leather and I am a little short of cash now.
