ProjectFusion 10-15-2004, 02:11 AM Retail on the kit will be 2200, which includes the front kit, rear kit and complete air management system. If I can get enough people interested then the price will definatly drop.
hotbox05 10-15-2004, 05:52 AM if you can truly lower that price i'd be all over it. only bad thing is air rides like carp and by carp i mean crap and by crap i mean ____
kidkamel 10-15-2004, 06:03 AM Air Ride, if it's installed correctly and setup correctly it's the best ride you can get. The only bad thing is all the maintainance involved with air ride. Draining Water Trap, watch out for pinch in a line, over heated compressors, fittings leaking, air valves sticking, blowing a bag, blow a seal in the clynder, and so on..
Hope that helps
ProjectFusion 10-15-2004, 06:08 AM Yeah I have to agree that if air ride is done correctly it rides better then most other stock vehicles do. Now hydros on the other hand unless you have accumulators now that's a _____.
BLKTOYBOX 10-15-2004, 06:28 AM I would be interested let us know.....
hotbox05 10-15-2004, 10:47 AM yeah it's only comfprtable when up near stock height. i like to drive low too. not just have it low when parked. thats what i meant my bad for any confusion.

the_saint 10-15-2004, 01:57 PM Hey guys as of Nov 1 easystreet's bolt on air ride kit will be available for purchase.
By "bolt on" you mean ABSOLUTELY no cutting or hacking, and that the vehicle can be returned to stock suspension if necessary, correct?

Bolt on kit usually require minium modification. But you are able to return it back to stock.
Riding close to stock on air is not the best ride height. I had a 99 S10 pickup and I had the back dragging and the front at 50 psi and it rode awesome. I also rode around at 40 to 50 psi all around and it rode fine. Like I said it all depends on the setup. Also air bags ride a lot better than clynders.
My .02 cents

Sorry, I guess I phrased that question wrong. I just wannted to make sure that it was able to be returned to original if needed.

juicy 10-16-2004, 12:10 AM thats kind of steep. is it cylinders in the rear or bags ?
ProjectFusion 10-16-2004, 03:26 AM Yes you'll be able to return it to stock with no problems. The front is air struts and the rear is bags.
BoomBox757 10-16-2004, 03:48 AM ok so whats the price, and can it be lower?
ProjectFusion 10-16-2004, 05:42 AM retail is 2200, it will be lower depending on how many people are interested. Once I get a general idea and can present that number then can try and figure out lower cost.
hotbox05 10-16-2004, 09:26 AM so i would assume that with that much of a drop theres no rear shocks?
LowProMofo 10-16-2004, 11:48 AM Air rides great and looks great too! But it doesn't handle as good. That's the only thing.

How many people needed for the group buy? Is it a 4 way set up or 2 way set? If we get a good amount of people on group buy, how much will the kit be?
juicy 10-20-2004, 02:08 AM is it true you have to replace the bags about once ayear if you live in new england?
