tick tick sound when i depress the break before i shift from park (auto)... one tick when i depress the break (w/o shifting) another one if i let go,. it sounds like its from the shifter .. is this something that i can fix? thanks in advance!

kind of funny mine did the same thing, it sounded like plastic clicking down where the shifter went into the housing. mine had like 25000 miles when it started. i never did take the shifter apart but it stopped on its own a few months later. but i dont know what it was ...sorry

its the shift lock solonoid, its completely normal

Yes, mine does it too. Oddly enough, I find myself able to shift from park after the sound occurs.
