tC header does NOT fit
SO I got a Strup header sent to me to test this weekend. I took the factory one off this morning. Put the strup one on. I must say, I LOVE the look of his header. I had the same one on my tC. But back to the post. The bottom S pipe section is different on the xB2 then on the tC. I will post some pics of it later tonight or tomorrow. The bolts dont line up and never does the angle that the two peices match up.

Here is the pics of it.. Yes it fits in the engine bay with no issues. Just the pipe does not line up. I am going to mess with it here in the next day or two and see if I can make the S pipe.

no it is not that close. The angoe of the bolts is way off, then so is the angle the two meet up. If you look at the 4 and 5 the left side is touching and the right is like a inch off. No brute force is not the key here. A new S pipe or a new header is the only way. The angles are way off in to many directions to just smash and call it good.

LMAO.. have you ever dealt with exhaust before?
I have built many many cars and that might be why they sent me the header to test fit. Since other people might not know what they are doing.
You can connect a header to a stock S pipe. The tC and xB are that way. If you look around you might notice that most the time you use a header, stock mid pipe, and then out to a aftermarket exhaust. I ran a Strup header, then stock S pipe, then custom mid pipe and then to a strup exhaust.
I lost power when I went to a custom mid pipe, so I went back to a stock mid pipe.
So please make sure that you have a clue what you are talking about when you say I have a problem.

Yeah I talked to the guy at strup today and I am going to make a custom S pipe and then send it to him to look at and see what we need to do. I cant wait to get the strup header and exhaust on this one again. He makes awesome products.
