Default My new GT35RSS turbo setup! Yep bigger better faster!

Well as you may have seen my Omifab kit did very well making 340 WHP and 346 ft llbs at only 10 PSI on pump gas. My UPS guy just delivered my new ERL sleeved block Friday and hopefully should have the other pieces necessary for my new motor. In the meantime planning was in the works to upgrade my turbo yet again. This is a totally custom setup with the new Tial GT35RSS stainless housing 0.82 AR. Just did street testing so far. Will try to get some dyno numbers soon. It is pretty big setup though and the Tial 44mm gate can only keep boost down to 9.5 PSI minimum. Runs fantastic though and she will be ready to go up against you guys in the Spring. Anyway, figured I would show you guys some pics.

Oooh, no idea but I'm sure it is not pretty. The turbo by itself is $1500 though if that tells you anything.

That was stock motor which I am still running right now. My new motor won't be finished until this winter. I have extra motor I am building which allows me to still drive my car everyday.

she doesnt have any so i guess that doesnt say alot about you :D

Nice work there... I talked to your guys a bit trying to figure out a setup for my new GT30... but that doesnt compare to yours.

Stock engine will do fine with those limits (10psi). The 340whp was made cuz of the bigger turbo then most get, the standalone EMS, and a great tuner.

Jade, I'm glad to see you are going built. I can't wait to see the numbers. I'm even happier that it's gonna be in the winter. Now I still have time to get mine done and won't drop down on the list of first people to go built.

Thank you Paul. I hope to make around the 450+ WHP on 93 octane fuel. That will be everyday power. The turbo can do over 600 WHP on race gas which VP was nice enough to send me a 5 gallon can of a new special race fuel for me to try. Can't wait but it will sit in my closet at home until it is time.

at first, i thought the turbo that you have is hte turbo that i have...

the GT3582R..but then it looks totally different than mine.

but then i look closer and it looks even moer like the gt35

but then you said its an rss

which means
1. ballbearing
2. part of gt35 ballbearing family

but then i looked it up...and theres no SS

im so confused.

This turbo is listed on the Tial website. The SS stands for Stainless steel. Due to the SS turbo housing. Even though she was running a gt37 the gt35's will produce more power overall for some reason. I'm running a gt37 now and its a amazing turbo but nothing really better then the gt35. And yes its a water cooled turbo.

i was basing it off of what i know abotu garrett codings my bad

they are hybrids tho right? so i was looking at it correctly...?

i love the all v-band set-up. it looks like you have a monster exhaust leak between the head, and the manifold flange. also it looks like a recirculated dump. i would have gone open dump.
