Front end looks like the Corolla with slight touch of the older gen Civic.

Looking at any cobalt picture the side looks like tC, but the generic front and ugly rear give it away. This one looks better than normal since they sketched it and changed the front end, hood, and wheels.

In the end though, its still a chevy.

and the only available cd/mp3 player for the $22,000 version (and is the top option on the rest):

gee, I wish I could install this instead of the Pioneer...

hmmm, you also don't get 4-wheel disc brakes until you hit the $22k SS. Not even an option on the rest.

can this look anymore sterile????

that cobalt is too expensive for what you are getting. is right around 22-23k and you get a 210hp chevy "cobalt" more like a cavalier to me. YUK. the i take the tC any day over that thing

I can't stand the gold chevy badges that are on all the cars now.

There is a red Aveo near me, and when ever I see it with the gold badges it makes me think they are trying to BLING out their little Aveo. :D

We know why... cause everybody buys a tC instead!

The MSRP and features are not competitive compared to the tC:

LS Coupe (available late fall 2004)
(in addition to, or in place of, Cobalt Coupe features)
Starting at $16,485*

Sport Cloth front bucket seats and 60/40 split-bench rear seat
Uplevel AM/FM stereo with CD player
Four-wheel antilock brakes
Cargo convenience net in trunk
Cruise control
Power windows and door locks
Body-color power outside rearview mirrors
15-inch aluminum wheels
Available Sport Package with rear spoiler, 16-inch wheels and more

for that same $16,500, you could get the tC WITH mp3, panoramic sun roof, 17-inch wheels, etc.

I don't think Cobalt looks too good, after all it has pretty cheap interior materials and doesn't have that much features as the tC. But, I kinda like the 205 HP version.

I don't think anyone's dreaming that the tC could be compared to a Chevy. Die.

I just checked out the Cobalt on KBB and the have a supercharged Cobalt for $22,000, around $23000 if you want the sunroof.

$23000 for basically a redesigned Cavalier, you have to be kidding me. Anyone that buys one of these has to be the dumbest person on earth. Hell, you can get an RSX for that. God, I would not even touch one of those for $12,000
