TRD Sparks has the security upgrade for the 08 on sale right now for about $115.00, and I would like to get it. I am just wondering what is involved with the install? Anyone else have this installed in an 07-08 yet?

I haven't installed the factory system but after market alarms are a pain to do because of the knee airbag. Honestly after market alarms are much better systems and offer better warranties and accessories.
