Default help my new tc

hey guys, i just bought a white tc! i basically got the base model with the cargo floormats, scion alarm system, and the subwoofer. i felt like i got ripped off A LOT by the floormats and subwoofer AND alarm, but it was all installed and available today. I seriously didn't want to wait weeks/months for a tc.

anyway, i plan on adding stuff and modding it eventually. what do you guys think are the most essential? the first thing i want to get is window tint, most likely 20% (not even sure if thats a good number), but other then the tint, im totally clueless and open to suggestions.

how 'bout like.....LEAVE IT ALONE!!! and use your money for something more productive.

If I had a TC, I'd light it on fire...

Very helpful. What the hell is your problem?

As for the actual question: there is no right way to start modifying a car. It is all about personalization (that is the point of modding). I would suggest this though, create a wishlist of things that you would like to do.

If you have a clear plan of what mods to do when, you can save money and have a much better final product.

No one can tell you what to do, because its going to be something your going to have to figure out on your own. If anything your let your imagination and creativity help you. Don't go too crazy unless you can afford to make mistakes, cause once you start customizing...its all down hill from there. Its an addiction!

Just remember that when you get really serious into the mods like paint and body or wheels and tires...take your time. You worked hard for your money....so don't be so quick to give it up. I've been burned waaay too many times! And remember that if something is too good to be true...most times it is!

A friend of mine told me long ago when I started getting into mini-trucks back in '95 that "GOOD WORK AIN'T CHEAP...AND CHEAP WORK AND GOOD!"

.....and if you can....nvr pay retail! I can't tell you how much networking has changed the way I view the aftermarker world! Especially since I'm a part of it now!

Btw: don't be afraid to ask for help...this board is full of help and advise!

Good Luck! :D
