Default Turbonetics........little ____ed off

So recently I went with the turbonetics kit... added it on and i have had it for about 2 months or so now. When i got back from the Ocean city car show, my car wasn't pushing the power it was before..I I found the problem..Downpipe weld cracked. Don't get me wrong the kit is a great product but my problem with turbonetics is the service.. Its a TC .....daily driver and thats what i told turbonetics when i asked if the about the warranty...They do warranty the product ....but you have to ship the old 1 back with a invoice copy...thats fine....i would expect to have my car down for a few days but were now moving on 2 week 3 with out my part....i call everyday and its another excuse everyday....personally i sick of dealing with these _______s...i just want my part so i can drive my car. I orders drag radials and HID projector headlights from japan and they got my parts back 2 me faster then turbonetics and turbonetics had a week head start.....ITS REDICULUS....IF I sold a kit 4 5K and it broke ....i would get the prob fixed quick......

KIT=NIce SERVICE= BLOWS GOATS

YEah they said they had 2 make another batch but honestly. the 2 week mark was yesterday.. so now 2 more weekend days and well c if it makes it here monday.....Im just saying if i was charging 5k 4 a turbokit and something messed up...I would get some1 part out asap...like ive been stuck driving my camaro which gets mayb 7 miles 2 the gallon. I could have bought a down pipe 4 200 bucks or less..... rather then fill my camaro up over n over again....

But you have an awsome warranty! lol

Turboed cars have problems. expect it, weather its a tracked car or a daily driver.

Yup! I never had the "cracking DP" problem but my brother does. We simply had it rewelded. Down time was about 1-2 hours. If its simple I'd do it yourself besides mailing it off.

Now them taking long.....Ive noticed this as well. I know when I first bought my tnetics kit, They were super fast. I'm talking like I 'd have a new part before I shipped out the old. Now I heard a few people that needed new turbo got them then didnt turn around and mail back the old turbos. Due to that nothing is even put together or fabed till they have your part instock. Just my 2 cents.

I have heard way to many stories regarding Turbonetics for me to even gander at their turbos. I stick with Garrett, Precision, and Borg Warner. Can't go wrong with a quality turbo.

Turbonectics??? I don't know whats up with them. I have there turbo with the Dezod kit and the oil seals went bad after about 2 months. I live 1/2 hour away from there headquarters, so I went down there to drop off my turbo. They said it would not take long to fix. About 5 days, is what they said, but when I called to check on it, they told me it's going to take about one week longer to fix...so all I can do is wait.

Yeah, i like ITS too, but spending 2k + for a BB turbo, and having a warranty of 3 months blows.

Turbonetics was acquired by a new company a while back - i met the new CEO. They're revamping things - it'll get better.
