it's all about where you drive and how you drive... I've been in my xA with a 1.5 inch drop but been in such a rush that I managed to tag my side skirts on a speed bump, but as long as you are concious of what's going on and don't try to take a speed bump doing 20 (those big saddle ones) you should be fine..

with any lowered car you will always want to angle, but you really shouldn't have any problems. it will also depend on how many people you have in the car.

I agree with 2fixA, I have the TRD springs on my xA ( 1 inch supposed to be ) and I scraped the front on my sister's driveway but that's because I was going too fast.... no probem on the speed bumps tho even with 4 people in the car.

I have the tanabe DF210 springs( 2" front/1.8" rear) on my xA. On those high ___ speed bumps i'll scrape the front black plastic guards on either side of the car, depending on which way i angle my car. On normal speed bumps i don't scrape at all.

when i had my car lowered 8" i would scrape. with a 2" drop nothing is going to scrape. 4" drop, maybe. but no one makes springs that have a 4" drop so don't worry about it. also, if you get 18" or bigger wheels, it will raise the body up unless you use really low profile tires, so that will help with scraping too.
BTW, yeah my car is all scraped up. oh well.

Eric... when you had the 8" drop, how much clearence did you have between the side skirts and the ground? I'm thinking about a 4-4 1/2" drop and I'm curious. I have the 5Zigen 2.1" drop right now and it's not low enough for my taste.

My xB is stock and it's lower than I really like. We've managed to scrape the front skirt directly in front of the tire and come verryyy close to dinging the front skirt on curbs and parking lot stops.
Part of our problem was that our "old" cars had plenty of clearance, so getting used to the fragile new car was a bit difficult.
