Like its idling too high? if so thats quite normal. Howeer, mine seems to randomly idle very low as soon as the engine turns over then goes high. almost like its about to stall.

well, isn't there an additional strain on the start to get the engine started since it has to turn the supercharger pulley too now?

Mine does the same thing. It tries to start, chugs and shakes a little, then dies. Crank it back up and it starts fine. I thought I finally had the s/c running smoothly, and it is, except for this.

I noticed that too. I dont have a s/c or anything, just stock motor but now that its cooling off here in NC my car with less than 2500 miles on it is weird every once in awhile. It usually turns over real quick, but a few times now since the weather has started to cool down it has taken a few extra seconds for it to start up. Weird.

what you're describing is high idle, where is will run at 1200-1500 rpm for a few minutes before dropping to normal idle

Idols are things people worship, FYI

Might need a higher powered battery, cause the stock one has trouble starting mine, but I put a duralast gold from my work in and it turns right over, so as soon so Im done with everything looks wise on my car im going to buy a more powerful battery.

No I wish lol, Im stock minus a CAI so if it wont start mine I doubt it helps to add an extra pulley. especially with the funky weather changeing the charge in the battery.

I dropped-in an Optima battery...the Panisonic that was in the car really sucked. No starting troubles since!

For those that are having trouble with the Panasonic, how old is it? I've never seen a battery fail in less than 2 years without some type of abuse. I wouldn't know too much about them, because I swapped the Optima red top in my maxima with the panasonic stock battery right before I sold the maxima.

Mines an 06 but the problem with the battery is the CCA I mean 50 more would have the car starting no problem
