After all of the stuff that's kind of went on within the community lately I found that I lost complete interest in the Scion Community and wasn't interested in attending events any longer (and hadn't). I lost interest in working on my car, and keeping the car in good condition. :doh:
Thankfully, I've been able to hang out with the friends I have in the community lately and they have re-kindled that flame, but when I think of Scionlife I think conflict and so...yeah, I haven't posted on here in awhile and have decided to close my account and stay away.
It just gets annoying logging in and seeing somebody not happy about something. I go out and look at my car and I'm reminded of ScionLife, which reminds me of drama, which really makes me want to spend my money elsewhere because why dump money into the car if I'm not going to the events? :nope:
I'm not going to point fingers, but the time has come to leave the site. :tap:
I will still attend the Scion events and meets, I just don't want to be apart of what goes on in the forums anymore. It's much more enjoyable for me to just show up at the events, chill with friends, meet new people and not worry about what was said in the forums by people earlier in the week, or in the past.
And before someone says you haft to just let stuff go, I have already done that. It wasn't a single conflict\drama thread that made me make my decision, but rather, a series of drama threads that showed that the community doesn't care really about how their words or actions effect other people. The community used to be great! People knew when someone was joking, or didn't mind if someone couldn't do an install for a few weeks and people didn't log on and start calling other people out..Oh yea, and the website used to run alot faster. That's pretty frustrating too :P
Anywayz, I don't want to rant so I'm not, it'll just get locked.
^^ Scott, you're just doing you're job, I'm not bashin on you. Keep up the good work dood cuz you're job would make me insane dealing with some of this stuff. :clap:
