Default 05,06,07,08 tc

Hello all,

I got a huge gift card, well loan, for graduation this year and I have always thought about purchasing a tc. I've noticed that a new 08 model just came out. Which year should I be looking at? Is there an 04 too? I may of missed that.

I ask for the year because I plan on getting the obsidian kit. Anyone has it currently installed and what year is your tc? Additionally, on the red obsidian tc found almost everywhere.. did the fenders come with that bolted pattern? I assume it doesn't and can the auto shop do that? Or how would I be able to obtain that look.

One last question is if it will be cheaper to repaint the whole car including the exterior mods such as body kits; or to just match and paint the body kits to the cars original color? I am set on a WHITE but if I can't, I would likely pick up a different color and have it repainted.

Thanks and all inputs appreciated.

no '04... year doesn't matter as the body is the same for all of them.

that red obsidian car you mention is neil tjin's... and it isn't that ninja red anymore.. but a sky blue the last i saw it... and that "bolted pattern" you like was taken away as it was molded onto the car.

painting costs ALOT of money... painting to match is cheaper... less stuff to paint.. the better... and cheaper..

and the bolted pattern... part of the kit.... it's screws actually..

Thanks for the link.

So if I got an 08, I would have no problem fitting the obsidian kit on without much modifications would I?

The red looked so aggressive with the bolt on. I'm not even sure if I want that kit now that I see how it looks with the bolt.

Inputs appreciated.

Yes, well aware. I just wanted to make sure that there wouldn't be any fitment problems that would cost thousands more to fix such as a 2 inch gap or different body lines.
