love the japanese look, matches my body suit!!! i should have some made up for my gen 1's...
when he sent them to you, what are they printed on, just curious because i had made up some sets on cardstock, and they didn't let the light pass through like i expected and trashed them, but i have my photoshop files still..

xbgauges@yahoo.com That's how you contact Jason...He charged my 50 bills for that overlay..It's printed on a flexible frosted white vinyl sort sheet. i asked him about the paper & he assured me that he was using a different material now.. Remember we went back & forth with emails & pics & about 3 phone calls with his 1st, second, 3rd, & fourth drafts before I decided on the final design!! HE listens well & does what you tell him! He is very good guy to work with.. He wont print & cut it untill your satisifed.. Glad you like it... I really do to., I figure 50 bucks aint diddly compared to what I got that NO ONE has one anything like it.. ya know?? ok thanks agian .... Jh

It's a thin plastic that lets the light pass thru. Jim and I are working on an underlay right now to make it even brighter for him.

here's a few pics of the 'brighting'

I took out the factory overlay. The prior pics have it STILL on under the new one..

Then cut this piece of vinyl to lay over the light disperser & put the new overlay over the top of that.

Daytime in the shade..

I thought that looked fine till nite fell & thought it was too bright. So I got a second piece of a darker blue shade & laid that down along with the first blue piece.
Now there is 2 blue layers of school folder (93cents each) & Jasons overlay & NOW all in GOOD!! w/out the factory overlay

this photo was shot with 'nite' camera setting so it may appear over-exposed...

a VID

http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i7...luedashVID.flv

I will add the 'icons' (fuel, check engine, oil, etc) as soon as Jason sends me the underlayer..(icons only)

If you can imagine it.... You can Have it!!!!

good luck... jh

geez that looks saaa-wwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeet.

i just love how the temperature panel is also blue'd out. i was planning to do exactly that with mine, I just hope the LED swap out DIY also applies to that temperature panel too. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=187351

i dont think the clear would disperse the light well enough, so my guess would be... crap.
