I just installed my s-techs yesterday and finally got some before after pics done. I love the ride, Its slightly stiffer than stock but not as bouncy, and much much less body roll. I measured the drop and it actually dropped it about 2 inches.

the first picture was actually taken about 2 months ago, and through all the hurricanes it damaged that tree so we had to take it down.

Nice, and I believe the drop is more than 1.7 inches. I measured after the drop and I got 6.5" clearance from the ground to the front bumper and sideskirts.

Schweet. Another Tampa xB with the s-techs. I'm still waiting for my fronts to settle down a bit. Overall I too am happy with the ride. 120% better than the stocks springs! :)

I think I saw you on Racetrack Road about a month or so ago. HID's are cool and all, but your lights are dangerously bright for oncoming traffic. Please adjust your lights lower or do something. That could cause an accident.

LMAO. I'm guessing one of the many hurricanes that came through the area took care of that tree. I have one in my front yard practically leaning at a 45-degree angle from the ground thanks to Frances. The house is a rental, so I'm just going to see how long the tree holds out.

I have the H Techs on my RS1. You like the ride a hell of a lot better once they are installed.

The type flex are a better choice, but the s will work just fine.

What does that supposed to mean?

Perhaps you can explain why you think it's a better choice and why you think s (assuming "s" is a shock) will work fine? Everybody's got different preferences and different expectations in suspension.

They don't even make the Tein Type Flex coilovers for the scions. Please fill us in if you know something we dont

why wait on tein to come out with the type flex... when there are tanabe sustecs, jic magics, and blitz wagon dampers available already...

bound and rebound. I believe the h techs are a little stiffer.
